Although the holiday season in Russian latitudes is inexorably coming to an end, nothing prevents us from thinking about the future season. After all, planning is the key to a great vacation. And we will tell you where to look for the cleanest beaches of the Black Sea in Russia.
10. “Golden Beach”, Feodosia, Crimea
Theodosius is well known to many vacationers mainly due to its attractions. There, for example, are the remains of an ancient fortress built by medieval Italians, as well as the Aivazovsky Museum.
However, first of all, you and I are interested in beach activities, namely the famous "Golden Beach", which got its name due to the peculiar color of sand - delicate, golden. This beach is justly considered one of the best on the entire Crimean Black Sea coast. The relief is gentle, so it is perfect for families with children. And since the beach is several kilometers from Feodosia, the water there is clean, and cleaning is regularly carried out on paid sites.
It is clear that with the height of the season at the "Golden" it becomes a bit crowded. And although the beach stretches for as many as six kilometers, it’s still worth leaving the sea early, when there is still a chance to comfortably sit under an umbrella.
9. "Massandra", Yalta, Crimea
Along with Zolotoy, Massandrovsky (as the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Crimea assures) is among the ten cleanest beaches not only in Crimea, but throughout Russia. No wonder for nine years now, since 2010, a blue flag proudly flies over it - a sign of the quality of water, sand and infrastructure.
“Massandrovsky” was lucky to receive this badge of honor before the political storm that erupted in 2014, and since then it has not reduced the bar of quality. He, like others, is divided into a free part (crowded) and a VIP zone (comfortable).
In addition to swimming, there is something to do on the Massandrovsky. There are not only souls, bars and water rides, but also sports equipment and massage services, and even evening concerts.
8. Novofedorovka, Saki district, Crimea
Many Crimean beaches, not inferior to Massandra, can not boast of a quality certificate. And it is not a matter of insufficient transparency of the sea or candy wrappers from sweets in the sand. And the fact that the international beach committee in charge of distributing blue flags still refuses to recognize the change in the territorial affiliation of Crimea.
Therefore, in search of a place where to put your deck chair, you have to rely on the opinion of beach experts and reviews of tourists. And the latter in full praise the beach in Novofedorovka, located 18 km from Yevpatoriya. Fortunately, due to recent initiatives of the Crimean tourism administration, it is gradually acquiring an increasingly civilized look.
Throughout the beach, dotted with small rounded pebbles, there were sun awnings, umbrellas, showers, foot washing equipment, parking and indispensable companions of any tourist place - cafes and restaurants. And if you want peace and quiet, then you should move about a kilometer from Novofedorovka, where relative deserts begin.
7. Imereti beach, Sochi, Krasnodar Territory
The Krasnodar Territory is a long-standing and beloved destination by generations of Soviet and post-Soviet tourists. The beach line is more and more ennobled - if in 2018 only six Krasnodar beaches were awarded the blue flag, then this year they have submitted applications and received the coveted seven more award. So now the discriminating tourist has a choice of 13 “blue-flagged” destinations. And we will talk about one of the most popular, Imereti.
It is interesting that he was born not by the will of nature. This is a man-made beach with an area of just over two hectares. It has everything you need - both inventory and entertainment. The beach is located at the hotel, so the entrance there is paid; hotel guests are cheaper, other tourists are twice as expensive.
6. Children's beach "The Seagull", Adler
Despite the fact that the beach is located in the very center of the city, he received his award in the form of a blue flag. The "Seagull" was created specifically for children, and for young bathers there are discounts, and very small ones can take place for free.
The beach is pebble, and its cleanliness is very closely monitored, which pleases the eye after publicly accessible city beaches. Of course, there is a rescue service, and the buoys are designed for the strength of small swimmers and are very close to the coast. And drinking alcohol and smoking on the beach is strictly prohibited.
5. Dagomys beach, Big Sochi
This beach boasts one of the longest and widest coastlines, so vacationers are located on it with relative comfort.
Despite the fact that this beach is very visited, the cleaning there is on top: the entire gigantic territory is cleaned every day. By the way, experienced tourists are advised not to go on the left side, there are always more people there. It’s better to choose the right part, there are fewer people.
On the Dagomys coast there is also one of the beaches that received the blue flag, it belongs to the recreation center of the same name.
4. The Riviera, Dzhemete, Anapa
Anapa has long been known among vacationers as a place where you can relax with your children. The avenue, along which there are many different beaches, hints at this long tradition (it is called "Pioneer").
The places there are beautiful. The gentle fine sand that strokes the feet, and not pricks, the picturesque dunes and lush subtropical vegetation are perfectly combined with a well-developed infrastructure. The entrance to the sea is smooth, gentle, where it is safe to teach children to swim.
The coast is divided into many small beaches, each of which is run by a nearby boarding house or hotel. The mode of staying on them depends on specialization - for example, unauthorized persons are prohibited on children's beaches. But the "hotel" beaches will welcome guests, of course, not for free. On the coast of Dzhemete there is also one of the beaches that received the blue flag - “Riviera”.
3. “Rosa Khutor”
Tourists living in hotel rooms of one of the best winter resorts in Russia can combine business with pleasure.
If you get tired of skiing, you can always go on free buses down to the beach, equipped with the latest leisure industry. There are not only sun loungers, deck chairs, sunshades and parasols, but even such rare animals in our latitudes as aerarii.
For the title of one of the cleanest beaches in Sochi, Rosa Khutor is fighting with the fury of a lion, so most likely you will be more than satisfied with your vacation there. By the way, people who do not live in the hotel can visit the beach. Only for them all services will be paid.
2. "Miami", Olenevka, Crimea
Scientists expressed their weighty word - in their opinion, it is the sea waters around Cape Tarkhankut (and the beaches located on it) that are the cleanest not only in the Crimea, but also throughout the Black Sea.
According to the head of the hydrophysical institute at the Russian Academy of Sciences, the reason lies in deep-sea currents. And in general, the south of Crimea is cleaner, since the sea is deeper here.
In total, there are several beaches on Cape Tarkhankut for every taste. One of them is the well-equipped Miami, which got its name for the color of sand. It is as white and fine as the sand on the original beach. The beach itself is not too wide, about 80 meters, but it stretches far.
Because of the remoteness from major tourist centers, there are not too many people there, however, all the necessary infrastructure is available: deck chairs, sun loungers, parasols and cafes, where you can have a tasty and inexpensive meal between swims.
1. Donuzlavsky embankment, Cape Tarkhankut, Crimea
If you have an adventurous streak in your blood, then we recommend looking for new sensations to go away from civilization, into the nature almost untouched by tourists. Infrastructure, of course, will not be any. There is not a single sun lounger all over the gigantic Belyau Beach (and it stretches for as much as 10 km of pure silver sand). You have to carry everything with you.
But you will see a beautiful clear sea, which remains crystal clear even during strong winds and waves. This is truly one of the cleanest beaches of the Black Sea, and even one of the quietest. There are no discos, no loud concerts, only silence, the rustle of the wind and the sound of the waves. By the way, in the tract there is a village with hotels, there is even a couple of cafes. So you will be at a comfortable distance from civilization.
By the way, the embankment is called for a reason - it is a narrow strip of sand between the Black Sea on one side and Lake Donuzlav on the other. So, if you wish, you can plunge alternately in both salt water and fresh water. The lake there is shallow and warms up well, so it is just right for families with children.
However, we repeat, these are places far from civilization, there are no cafes, no shops, or, unfortunately, a rescue service if something goes wrong. So you will enjoy purity, silence and peace at your own peril and risk.
